The Financial Industry Community Aid Program (FICAP) raised more than $200,000 at its 11th annual 'Who Wants to be a RockStar?' fundraiser.
Heavy rains couldn't dampen the spirits of FICAP's record crowd of more than 900 who rocked out in The Ivy Ballroom.
BT Financial Group's Madeline Herlihy was awarded the highly prized RockStar award for her rendition of the Cold Chisel classic, 'Bow River'. The talented Herlihy also took out the Perpetual Best Female Artist award.
The rock icons theme saw performers whip the crowd into a frenzy with passionate renditions of quintessential rock songs such as Bon Jovi's 'You Give Love a Bad Name' and Pearl Jam's 'Better Man' while raising more than $200,000 for Raise, Mirabel and The Shepherd Centre.
Commenting on the record year, FICAP's head of sponsorship Scott Baker said: "Our charities are absolutely thrilled. Every dollar donated helps in raising a brighter future for Aussie kids."
"We are yet again blown away by the support of our generous sponsors and would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the night such a huge success," Baker said.
"The depth of talent tonight has blown us all away. Huge congratulations to all of our singers, especially those taking home a prize."

- UBS Best New Talent: Brian Stoddart (Zurich), The Doors' 'Roadhouse Blues'
- ANZ Best Returning Talent: Tim Sanderson (CFS), Darryl Braithwaite's 'Horses'.
