Stephen's role at SGH is as Managing Director and is one of the Portfolio Managers responsible for their Listed Property Trust portfolio. He has had 20 years experience in investing with 17 years of that investing in Listed Property Trusts. Prior to setting up SGH, Stephen was at National Asset Management (NAM) for 6 years where his last role was as General Manager and Chief Investment Officer. He was also Chairman of the Asset Allocation Committee. NAM had $17 billion in Funds as at 30 June 2001. Prior to that he was Head of NAM's Australian Equities (for 5 years) and Head of NAM's Property Team.

Before joining NAM, he was at HSBC Asset Management where he was an Asset Allocation Committee member, and spent 8 years in their Australian Equities Team running their Listed Property Trusts portfolios as well as being responsible for their Direct Property portfolios.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and has a Master of Applied Finance, and he is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
