Kieran Canavan is Head of Fixed Interest and Treasury. He joined Centric Wealth in 2003. He began working in the financial services industry in 1992 as a Financial Adviser for premier clients in The Standard Bank, one of South Africa's top four banks. By 1997 he was heading up special projects within Standard Bank centred around security, products and risk mitigation for the then emerging low cost housing mortgage markets.

In 1997 Kieran immigrated to Australia after been tasked with starting up a new venture for an international manufacturing, import and redistribution company based in Sweden. In 2002 Kieran moved back into the Financial Services field in mortgage origination where he setup and managed a small boutique mortgage company. Kieran joined Centric in late 2003 to head up their lending division. Together with Kieran's management responsibilities he has many years experience working within funders. This, together with his own business experience, has enabled him to be able to offer significant debt structuring and origination capabilities to clients requiring complex financing. In 2008 Kieran was appointed Head of Fixed Interest and Treasury.

Kieran has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Financial Management and has completed many industry specific courses both in South Africa and Australia. Kieran is currently in the process of completing The Diploma of Lending with FINSIA.

Kieran is a member of MFAA (previously MIAA) and FINSIA.
