Ian's prime role is to undertake the environmental, social, workplace and governance research of Australian listed companies and investigate the relationship between sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) company perfromance and financial performance. In his role, Ian has engaged with numerous companies on their sustainability and ESG performance, prepared a number of "position papers" for the fund and undertaken a number of research studies looking at Australian Corporate Governance, and climate change related issues. He has also been involved in numerous finance and sustainability initiatives, such as the "Mays Report", Finance Sector Sustainability Roundtable and UNEP Financial Initiatives.
