Tim Harcourt is the chief economist of Australian Global Economics and the first J.W. Nevile Fellow in Economics at the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Tim was Formerly chief economist for the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade). As chief economist of AGE Tim analyses the global economy to help Australian companies devise their own international business strategies. A prolific author and globetrotter, Tim has visited over 56 countries in the past five years alone. Tim also teaches the international business strategy programmes for UNSW in Asia and Latin America with a focus on China, ASEAN, India, Brazil, Colombia and other emerging markets.
