John is the Chief Executive of Multiport, which provides platform, compliance and back office services for managed discretionary account services currently managing around $150 million of MDA funds. John is widely regarded as a leader in the development of new products and client strategies, being responsible for the development of Australia's first superannuation master trusts in 1985 and one of Australia's first allocated pensions in 1987. John has had many years experience in government relations work as a former Director and Chairman of Australian Retirement Income Streams Association (ARISA), and more recently, as a Director and founding member of Small Independent Superannuation Funds Association (SISFA). John has also been a member of Treasury's committee on the implementation of the Financial Services Reform Act and is a member of the ATO National Superannuation Liaison Group. John is also a director of Financial Essentials Pty Ltd, which provides specialist industry financial services training to financial advisers and staff of financial institutions.
