Richard Borysiewicz recently completed a 4 year tenure as CEO of Credit Agricole Asset Management (now rebranded as Amundi). During those 4 years he opened a start up operation and completed a merger with Societe Generale Asset Management to create Amundi Asset Management in Australia. The assets under management after 4 years were over A$2.5 billion (at the end of September 2010). Prior to this he was an Executive Director and Head of Sales and Marketing at Skandia Australia for over 2 years. Earlier in his career he was at BT/Principal as EVP and Head of Institutional Business and at Rothschild Australia for 9 years where he held a number of roles in both Retail and Institutional, and was Head of Institutional Business and a Board Member for the last 2 years there.
He has a B.A. (Economics) from the University of NSW and has completed an Executive Leadership Programme from Kellogg School of Business in Chicago. Richard was in the Australian Army Reserve for 10 years and held the rank of Captain. He has been married to Teresa for 20 years and has 2 children (Albert, 18 and Bianca, 15)
