Phil has 21 years experience in advertising and marketing; ten of those years as a managing director of multi-national advertising agencies in Australia and Asia.
He has worked and lived in the Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam markets. And has worked for some of the world's leading advertising agencies like Mojo, Clemenger BBDO, Leo Burnett and for the last five years George Patterson Y&R in Australia. He also sits on the regional board of Y&R Brands.
Phil has led brand strategy and top level client relationships on an extremely diverse, multi-national client set, including some of the world's biggest global brands; Heineken, General Motors, Tiger Beer, McDonalds, Johnnie Walker, Coca-Cola, Wrigleys, LG and Colgate Palmolive to name a few.
Phil also has extensive, Australian based experience, working with clients like Tourism Queensland, News Limited, Queensland Government, NSW Government, Suncorp, Telstra and The Australian Newspaper.
Phil is a past Chairman of the Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) and board member of the Queensland Government's Pacific Film & Television Commission.
