Julie Bennett is Principal of 64 Media (www.64media.com.au), a public relations and media training consultancy servicing the finance industry. Julie has vast experience in both print and broadcast media, having started her career as a program manager creating corporate videos and then working as a journalist, editor and managing editor across a range of consumer and finance publications. She spent two years working with Australian media personality David Koch as the inaugural editor of Wealth magazine and later went on to fund, launch and publish Zack Magazine, a lifestyle publication for baby boomers. She is also a former Managing Editor of a suite of financial services publications, including Money Management, Super Review and Financial Planning magazine.
Julie is extremely active in the financial services industry and after volunteering on the committee for several years, was appointed Chair of the Financial Planning Association (Sydney Chapter) 2009 Belief in Financial Planning Dinner Committee supporting the leading children's charity The Day of Difference Foundation.
Julie is also a financial services historian and custodian of the memoirs of financial planning pioneer, Gwen Fletcher.
