Alex Dunnin is the Director of Research & Editorial at the Rainmaker Group, one of Australia's leading financial services research and publications companies. He is Rainmaker's primary researcher, lead analyst and writer behind their library of industry reports, the SelectingSuper guide, website and tablet app.
He is also a contributing writer to the Financial Standard investment industry newsmagazine and daily email news service where he writes about industry and market trends and how Australia's political and economic landscape interacts with financial services.
Alex is a former regulator, high school teacher and high rise window cleaner while also being an author and referee for junior rugby union, all which make him ideally suited to trying to figure out and explain superannuation and wealth management in Australia.
Alex is a graduate from the University of Sydney, the University of New England and Charles Sturt University where he earned qualifications in pure mathematics, psychology, teaching, economics, operations research and statistics.
