Tom is the Principal of The Tom Collins Consultancy, and a director of a number of companies in financial services. The Consultancy specialises in providing strategic assessments and distribution expertise the financial services industry. Before this, Tom has had a long and varied career in the financial services industry. His previous experiences was as a system analyst, designing and implementing superannuation and fixed interest systems, an investment adviser - first authorised in 1978, a state manager for a fund manager, the founder of a financial planning company, and Executive director with Godfrey Pembroke. In 2002 the ASSET magazine recognised Tom as one of the top eight innovators in the financial services industry.
