John Horner joined Deutsche Bank in 2005 as Foreign Exchange Strategist and is based in Sydney. He has primary responsibilities for the Australian dollar, New Zealand dollar, and Canadian dollar strategy, as well as covering G10 foreign exchange in the Asia time zone. John joined from Societe Generale Australia where he was the senior strategist for four years, with responsibility for Australia/New Zealand foreign exchange and interest rate strategy. Prior to joining Societe Generale John was a senior economist with Schroders Australia (1998Aca,-aoe2000) and an economist with Bankers Trust Australia (1996Aca,-aoe1998). John holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania and is a CFA charterholder.
