Nick Griffin joined K2 Asset Management in 2005 as a Portfolio Manager in the International strategy, and has been promoted recently to the Head of International Strategy. In this role Nick is responsible for overseeing the asset allocation for the International strategy in conjunction with the CIO, Mark Newman.
Prior to joining K2, Nick spent six years as a senior member of Deutsche BankAca,-a,cs highly rated Global Oil & Gas Team where he was responsible for analysis, research and idea generation on all facets of the global oil & gas industry. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, NickAca,-a,cs first role in funds management was an Investment Manager on the Australian Portfolio at Commonwealth Investment Management (now part of Colonial First State Investments) in Sydney. Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics and Finance from the University of Melbourne, and has also completed the Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
