Dani Peer is the principal of The Peer Effect - a consultancy specialising in providing relevant, practical and valuable business support to financial advisers.
Dani's career in the financial services industry started at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1992. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he set up a financial planning practice committed to high-touch, customised and holistic client solutions.
Dani moved from financial planning to head up a boutique funds' management company. He sold his interest three years later to immigrate to Australia. He joined Zurich Financial Services in 2003 as its National Practice Manager and left in 2006 to join the AFS Group as Head of Strategic Development. He now consults to both organisations.
Dani's strength is his ability to address current and pertinent issues in an engaging and entertaining manner. He is a sought-after presenter and has been invited to work with many top twenty dealer groups as well as the Financial Planning Association, Association of Financial Advisers and the Million Dollar Round Table.
He is a certified workplace trainer and assessor and holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accountancy degrees as well as an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.
